The trAditional German home ownership urgently needs a modern expansion
We have always emphasized that renovations and transformations are more difficult than planning a whole new apartment. The reason is very simple and obvious. The structures that already exist also have their limits.
It is similar with this great German house which is in Regensburg.
As the building has been declared part of the regional historical heritage, the original structure of the inter-space residence cannot be changed by the designers. Instead, the inventive troop of Fabi Architects decided to add a brand new extension infused with modern minimalism to the house.

The whole new structure, which is shown below, and which was launched by the German design studio, uses the glass in line with current fashion in the form of floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Connected to the original house by a great hallway, the new extension inscribes itself in the current trend of elegant and stylish rooms that offer great views of the outside world.

The quiet garden outside is always visually connected to the living and inner courtyard area of the new house. The interior design on the two floors appears neat and thanks to the warm and lively look offers a relaxed environment inside.
The existing structure adopts the modern lifestyle in its interior, for example through the ergonomic kitchen area, the economical dining area and the completely white interior and thus provides a contrast to the traditional ambience outside.

The chic extension of the inter-space building is a nice example of how you can add an extra room to a historic house without radically changing the existing building.
