The ingredients:

(for 2-3 cups)

  • 4 cups of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • a pinch of cinnamon

The preparation:

Put the almond milk, cocoa, maca, maple syrup and cinnamon in a blender and mix on the highest level for about a minute.

Then place the hot chocolate in a saucepan on the stove and bring it to medium heat (do not bring to a boil – high temperatures reduce the bioavailability of the nutrients in cocoa and maca). Serve hot chocolate in cups with a pinch of cinnamon. Enjoy!
