Here comes our second contribution in the series Tinkering with clothespins. You get another dose of inspiration from our craft ideas with wooden clothespins. Chic, environmentally friendly home accessories and original decorations are created very quickly and easily. Our examples here are with wooden clothespins, but feel free to use plastic pegs if you feel like it. For some of the suggestions it will be necessary to remove the metal brackets and only use the wooden parts. Very often, however, you can take advantage of the fastening effect of all the clothespins.
Do you need cachepots for your plants? We have a practical, free solution for you. Take old tin cans, dye them a suitable color and attach the wooden clothespins as shown below. This is how you get original planters in no time at all. You can of course decorate the brackets in a color of your choice.

Have you always wanted to make snow crystals quickly and easily? We have an interesting variant for you. These wooden snowflakes are perfect for window decorations and even as coasters for your cups or glasses. Use the same crafting technique as you did with the planters, but this time use small glass containers that you place in the wooden circles.
This way you get romantic lanterns that you can place anywhere.

Below you can also see how you can use clothespins and a cable and some metal rings to create a fruit bowl and a chic pendant lamp or even a tiered chandelier. Take a look at everything and learn how easy it is to design a rustic DIY basket. The funny, biting males that actually serve as coat hooks are our favorites? Surprise your little ones with it! You can even use this idea for your kids’ crafting. Are you already wondering where you put the old wooden clothespins last time? Are they still in the basket on the balcony or maybe already in the basement? Definitely find this one and see what you can do with it. Have fun and good luck!
