Pumpkin recipe that is simple, everyday and tasty
The festival that everyone is so happy about, the famous festival of horror Helloween, is now over after a very euphoric time. Now you are standing in your nicely furnished and festively decorated apartment and do not know what to do with so many pumpkins.
The only pumpkin recipe you will know is the pumpkin soup you eat every week anyway. I feel very similar.
And which pumpkin recipe can still bring joy long after Helloween??
That’s why I looked for different ways to find out what you can prepare with or from pumpkins. I was particularly impressed by the simplicity of three recipes and I want to share them with you right away. In addition, I have tried to meet only regional tastes and culinary preferences and to choose recipes that we all not only know, but love to eat.
Today we simply combine our favorite recipes with pumpkin
The first recipe actually comes from Switzerland and is now refined with pumpkin.
Easy, quick and regional – Rösti made from pumpkin
Sour cream or herbal quark with it increases the enjoyment even more
Pumpkin hash browns

2 tablespoons oil
Salt and pepper to taste
A pinch of nutmeg
Rubbed thyme or rosemary

The Rösti can also taste good with hunter’s sauce and sliced meat
Grate or grate the pulp and mix well with the beaten egg. Season to taste and shape medium-sized patties with both hands. Fry until golden brown on both sides in hot oil.
Garnish with herbal quark, smoked salmon or pickles.
With a little imagination, you can also make your own creations from the basic recipe
and enjoy the pumpkin differently every day
Prepare the pumpkin or french fries in the oven

The pumpkin sticks can be a great snack for a spontaneous visit
Fresh parsley makes the pumpkin fries even tastier
Cut the pumpkin unpeeled into 1cm thick strips. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and distribute the strips on it. Brush with oil and season with salt.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes at 200 ° until the strips are crispy.
Thyme goes very well with the pumpkin snack
The pumpkin puree even surpasses the taste of the mashed potatoes
For those who can prepare mashed potatoes themselves, this recipe should be very easy.
1 medium-sized Hokkaido pumpkin
You can always use finely chopped herbs
The pulp should be cooked soft, but with an intense color
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and steam them until they are cooked. Carefully pour off the water and spread 100g butter over the steaming pumpkin and potato pieces. Pour in some milk and carefully process into the puree with a hand blender. Season with salt and, if necessary, nutmeg.
I.Serve in the glass and garnish deliciously!
