Moitie is an ingeniously conceived table lamp that represents the light reflex as the main part of the interior. The project has a dynamic aspect – depending on the angle of view, the table lamp vision changes, creating an effect of depth. The mirror reflects half of the silhouette and creates the entire structure.
Simple yet ingenious object, not to mention its highly creative function.
Ingenious reflective table lamp design
After several rehearsals, the designer decided on this usual lamp shape that everyone recognizes. The lamp is made of three components and three materials: a semi-cylindrical wooden base, a mirror with built-in light sources on the back and an opalescent tube that spreads the light. All of these elements can be easily installed, which, by the way, makes the table lamp suitable for compact apartments. The article will be featured in Paris Fashion Week from September 9th to 15th, 2013.
