Easy recipe for hot chocolate on a stick
You need the following ingredients to make a dozen chocolate sticks:
- Aromatic-free oil (e.g. sunflower or vegetable oil), for greasing
- 300 g white chocolate
- 300 g milk chocolate
- Mini marshmallows
- Mini fudge pieces
You only need a few ingredients to prepare hot chocolate on a stick
- 12 yoghurt cups / shot glasses etc..
- 2 microwaveable bowls
- 2 disposable bags
- 12 wooden ice cream sticks or lollipop sticks
- 12 gift tags (optional)
- Transparent cellophane film (optional)
- Curling tape (optional)
In a few steps your chocolate sticks will be ready
First, grease each yogurt pot with a little oil and set it aside until you need it.
Now grind the white chocolate (300 g) in a microwave-safe bowl and pour the milk chocolate (300 g) into another microwave-safe bowl. Heat the white chocolate in the microwave at 10-second intervals. Make sure that you stir well every now and then. When two-thirds melted, stir until completely melted and smooth. Repeat the process for the milk chocolate.
Fill each greased yogurt cup about two-thirds full with melted white or milk chocolate. You can use two disposable piping bags for this.

Once the cups are filled with chocolate, gently press a wooden ice cream stick or lollipop stick into the center of each cup. The chocolate should hold them in place.
Top some chocolate sticks with mini marshmallows and others with mini fudge pieces. Try to squeeze as many in as you can, but don’t squeeze them into the chocolate. Just leave them on top.
If necessary, re-center the wooden sticks / lollipop sticks so that they are straight and in the middle. Then put them in the refrigerator so they’ll harden completely for about 3-4 hours (or all night).
